Get to know me!!
First, thanks for stopping in!
My name is Melissa, and I'm a coffee loving, high school teaching, and wife of 1 amazing (occasionally annoying) husband.
We live in Kentucky and I love to cook! But, nothing fancy. I just try to make meals my kids and husband will eat, that don't cost much, and I can make in less than 45 minutes.
I've been teaching for 11 years, I spent some years in middle school math and now I'm at a high school. I love it! I teach algebra 1 and 2. My students are great, sometimes difficult, but mostly wonderful! And I love algebra! I do my best to keep my lessons engaging, but simple and quick to plan! In my 11 yeas I have arrived at a lot of teacher hacks that I am excited to share on this platform.
Perfection is not my game. I mess up constantly. Saying the wrong thing is almost part of my personality as is jumping to conclusions. I am thankful that Christ has saved me and I am forgiven! Because my goodness, I need that forgiveness. We all make mistakes, sin, and fall short! I feel like I do more than most people, but that's ok!
My goal here is to share life with you! I want to share my quick cheap meals, so you can save money by eating at home. I'll share all my teacher hacks so you can save time and get home quicker! And, I'll share just general life moments so you can have a chance to say, oh my goodness she is just like me!
